Ms. Bellezza Jewelry

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to do some hair and make-up for a local Jewelry designer. Her pieces are beautiful, reasonably prices and extremely sparkly, which I love! Check out more of her work at MsBellezza.com

Consider these earrings for your next big event!

The models were super sweet. It always blows me away when in between shots one of them was studying for a test and the other was getting ready to go back to school down south. They are not only beautiful on the outside but smart and lovely on the inside too :)

Favorites: Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics.

One of my favorite cosmetics is Youngblood's Mineral Foundation. It is so easy to apply and covers all my unwanted spots. It is made of mostly natural ingredients, which I love. I like trying new things, but this is one product I keep buying and using pretty much daily. It is a little hard to find, it is sold in salons, boutiques, and online, but if you have the chance to try it, I would highly recommend it!

I wear their Natural Mineral Loose Foundation in; Neutral and sometimes their Liquid Mineral Foundation in; Pebble.

Labor Day Weekend.

Happy Labor Day everyone! I hope you all have a fantastic and relaxing weekend.  Filled with fun, family or friends!

I had a wonderful and busy day at the salon yesterday. Thank you to all of my clients for coming in. You guys make it possible! I also got some tips and inspiration from my coworkers too.  Not saying you do, but if you treat those around you as horrible competition, then where's the love? Instead of jealousy or mean intent, get inspired by those around you and learn from people who maybe do the same things you do. :) Just my two cents.

Now I'm off to Santa Cruz with my Hubs and family. Going to check out the tide pools, and look around the shops downtown if they are open. Hope there's not to too much traffic! Crossing my fingers.

Blessings!

Inspired! Pirate Style.

I was totally inspired today when I watched Sunnie Brook's beauty blog on how to play with your style on a day when you just are all out of ideas. (Look for "Accessorize Your Hair") I decided to pull out a teal silk scarf, and wrapped it around my head twice and tie it in a little bow. To play around a bit more I decided to wear a black and white striped shirt, hoop earrings, bangles, big jewel ring and red lips (I used M.A.C. Half-Red lip liner and M.A.C. Red satin lip stick, with a little gloss) to play up a little summery pirate style :) Be brave with your style! Don't be afraid to have a little fun...

Hope your day is fabulous like you!

Behind the Scenes with Nigel Who?

Last night I had the opportunity to work with a local clothing designer, Ronnie Bogle, showing off a few pieces in his line, Nigel Who? We working along side the talented photographer Daniel Garcia and models Nina Noir, and Benjamin Kline. Everyone did a fabulous job! I know I am just showing off Nina, but Nina and Ben are not only models, but an actual couple too! The shoot went seamlessly because of their natural connection with each other.

This is just one of the looks from the night.

Finally.

Finally got the nerve to make a blog. A blog to represent my abilities as a hair and make-up artist. Sometimes I wondered if anyone even cares to listen. With years of training and experience , I will bring you honest reviews on styles and products, pictures of my work from photo shoots, weddings, salon; styling, hair cuts and colors, and whatever else I do. I look forward to sharing my journey in the beauty industry and hope to inspire you to show off your own unique beauty too!
